Why do guys usually use that line " I need my space" I am confused and I need time to think about it. This bf of mine is like no other guy I dated before he is so confusing and so different I can never tell why he does the thing he do. I know sometimes we women can be a little to much on to a guy but I am not that kind of girl. I am the kind that calls once maybe twice a day no more than that. I wait until he calls me and comes and picks me up. I am not after his money and I am no gold digger. I am what you can call a really nice and good girl. What else can a guy ask for. I dont know if he loves me, or how much he cares about me but I am scare and I dont know what to do or what to think. I know life goes on, but I dont want to lose him he is a really nice guy. Everybody have issues but I dont want that because he is a little stressed out he takes out on me. People and mostly guys comment.
Well, if you want the opinion of a relationship retard, I'll offer my 3.14 cents.
It doesn't sound good to me dear. Wanting more space, in my mind, equates to 'I don't want to be around you'. Ummm...yeah, so in my estimation, that is not a good thing.
Ryan, you charge too much for your advice.
My copper lincoln's worth of understanding is the same as Cavuttos. If he needs space, that means you are probably sucking the air outta the room, also known as smothering him. You call once, maybe twice a day? Go out lady! Hang with your friends, forget you have a man for a little bit. Ever hear the phrase "Absense makes the heart grow fonder"? Use it to your advantage. If you are always around, or calling, or whatever, it won't have to time to realize how great you are. And besides, it always great to have your own life.
This isn't meant to be rude or anything, and you are only 18 so I don't expect you to heed any advice, but its the truth. Imagine this: ya'll are hanging out, but you are concerned about what he is thinking, it puts a damper on your mood, he picks up that you are not carefree or as carefree as usual, it puts a damper on his mood. You sense his damper, you have even less of a good time, he senses yours and he doesn't wanna be around you anymore. It happens to all teenage couples.
